Two partners of the AutoMat project, Masmec and Snam, recently met following the achievement of a concrete project objective: a technology now ready to be applied in a real industrial context.

Masmec has developed the discharging platform technology, while Snam — a recycling plant — is the potential recipient of this equipment.

The meeting took place at Masmec's premises in the second week of June, giving Snam's team the opportunity to attend a training session on the use of the equipment. It was also an occasion to better define the next steps, in order to optimize the transfer, installation and use of the technology at Snam's plant, and to prevent potential issues, through to the end of the project.

Starting this autumn, the installation phase will begin.
