At the beginning of 2025, a collaboration was established between ERP Italia Servizi and Dogma Energia, an Italian company operating in the sustainable energy sector. Dogma specializes in the design of charging systems for electric vehicles, the development of custom energy storage systems, and consulting services aimed at energy and cost savings.

The collaboration focused on the disassembly, at Dogma’s facility, of battery packs from Stellantis vehicles (Peugeot 208), purchased and supplied by ERP Italia Servizi. The packs were manually disassembled down to the module level, with a dual objective: on one hand, to recover components for use in the development and validation of ongoing technologies; on the other, to collect data useful for analyzing current process challenges and technical issues, with the aim of making them automatable and replicable.

On the occasion of the disassembly of the third battery pack, ERP organized a technical visit with the participation of Politecnico di Milano and Masmec. During the visit, the partners had the opportunity to closely observe the manual disassembly operations, in order to collect data and insights useful for the development of Pilot 1 of the project, particularly in relation to the automated disassembly phase.

The initiative represented a valuable moment of technical exchange between industrial and academic partners, aimed at supporting the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions for end-of-life battery pack recycling.
