AutoMat at E-TECH Europe: Advancing Automation in Battery Recycling
On April 15-16, the AutoMat project participated in the E-TECH Europe trade fair in Bologna, sharing a booth with the RENOVATE (Horizon Europe) and BATMASS (I3 – Interregional Innovation Investments Programme) projects.
The participation was made possible thanks to the organization of ERP Italia, with the support of AFIL – Associazione Fabbrica Intelligente Lombardia and the University of Pavia.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for visibility and exchange with industry stakeholders, research institutions, and public authorities involved in the battery value chain and circular economy.
AutoMat presented its activities covering the entire battery recycling value chain, from collection and sorting to material recovery, highlighting the project’s contribution to developing advanced technological solutions for sustainable battery management.
The joint presence with RENOVATE and BATMASS showcased complementary approaches to recycling, critical raw materials recovery, and industrial valorization, further enhancing the visibility of EU-funded initiatives.
